BICC Requests Premier to Open Croquet Courts

Arlene Parker | Published on 5/12/2020
Hello Everyone -this message is to let you know that the Board continues to work on a number of fronts in preparing for play this year. The Board appreciates the support of the Members during this time. Thank you to every Member who renewed their fees for this year. The courts are receiving the care and maintenance needed for start up as soon as we receive the green light.

The Board sent a letter to Premier Ford and Minister MacLeod requesting to be allowed to open on the same basis and same criteria as golf courses. The letter was also sent to MPP Lisa Thompson. The Premier has mentioned 'some' parks as well as golf courses and perhaps tennis courts may be allowed to open. The Board will continue to advocate for our croquet club.

The letter to the Premier and Minister can be found here:  Letter to Premier Ford

The Board has prepared a Health and Safety Protocol that will be sent out shortly.

Thanks again for your support.
